Reconnection Transparency Graphic - YNPN21 (Updated)

YNPN National is excited to embark toward our 2021 Virtual Conference as we Zoom through deep waters and safe harbors, facilitating active learning, and investing in our emotional growth. Now more than ever, we are tasked with confronting and addressing the ways the nonprofit sector contributes to and perpetuates systemic inequities in the United States.

#YNPN21’s conference theme, Reconnecting, Reconvening, and Reimagining, recognizes these challenges and calls upon us as YNPN Chapter Leaders, YNPN Members, and young nonprofit professionals – to ask ourselves what actions we must take to get the nonprofit sector on the right path.

YNPN21 Keynote Recordings

Thank you to all of our sponsors and presenters that helped us make our 2021 Virtual Conference a success!  Recordings of our keynote sessions are now available below, and additional information about access to all of the recordings of workshop sessions for non-conference attendees will be available shortly.

For Trish Adobea Tchume, former director of YNPN National, YNPN was one of her first political homes.  In this keynote, Trish invites participants to reflect upon the importance of establishing political homes as a practice for remaining purposeful in the struggle for justice over time.  She’ll discuss these themes with YNPN National Board Co-Chair Al Heartley and invite participants to reflect on these themes in their own work.

We’ll talk about the lessons learned from the past 18 months, and how we can apply them to our organizations over the next 18 months. We’ll discuss three themes that we’ve noticed in our work in the areas of organizational strategy, trust and community engagement, and our people.
