Job Summary:
Responsible for successful coordination of all internal and external communication for the Foundation for Woman’s and timely donor relations correspondence. Provides high-level support to the Chief Philanthropy Officer to help coordinate the activities of the Foundation.
Serves as office manager, overseeing daily activities and departmental policies and procedures. Serves as database and financial expert providing staff support for all fundraising events and philanthropy officers. Responsible for daily deposits; preparation of pledge accruals; expense budget preparation; and coding and tracking expenses including reconciliation with Accounting and preparation of monthly gift reports. Oversees Wall of Stars program. Performs other duties assigned by Chief Philanthropy Officer according to the mission, policies and procedures of Woman’s Hospital and Foundation for Woman’s. The Donor Relations Coordinator must be committed to the mission of Woman’s Hospital.
Works with Foundation for Woman’s staff, board members, physicians, employees, donors, patients, volunteers, community/business leaders, vendors, and general public. Also works with information systems staff on support issues related to database and accounting staff to ensure proper financial reporting.
Job Requirements:
Degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Significant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Five or more years of office management/project management, fundraising, and database experience (preferably Raiser’s Edge).
Job Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of Development CRM database systems required (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Requires outstanding organizational skills, professional level written and verbal communication skills (listening, written, and oral) with exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of community, including individuals and businesses preferred.
Knowledge of basic non-profit accounting practices and handling budgets.
Schedule:
Full Time; Monday – Friday
Pay Range:
$18.93 – $26.74 (Hourly)
