The Collaborative is looking for a qualified, skilled part-time Program Coordinator to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. The Program Coordinator will work with The Collaborative’s Executive Director to plan and organize existing programs and activities, as well as carry out important operational duties. This is a part-time position (10 hrs/week).

Duties Include:

Planning and coordination of existing programs at The Collaborative, including but not limited to classes and workshops, on and off-site popup events and in-gallery events.
Working closely with the Volunteer Photo Lab Assistant in managing the new Photo Lab including scheduling, training and managing printing services.
Assisting Collaborative Executive Director with other programs and events, such as the Warren Folks Festival + Folk at the Farm.
Creating relevant and successful Social Media engagement to promote the organization’s various programs + events.
Responsibilities include:

Planning and coordination of on-going programs and activities and creating new ones.
Research program grants opportunities.
Work with ED to maintain budgets for programs and events.
Work closely with ED + Gallery Coordinator with marketing The Collaborative’s programs through media relations and social media.
Engage in implementing, managing and monitoring The Collaborative’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness and grow and engage social media followers.
Keep updated records on our ongoing programs (attendance, demographic breakdown, etc) and create reports that support grant reports as well as future proposals.
Assist the Director + Gallery Coordinator to maintain an effective and distinctive visual signature and voice in all communications including website, newsletters, membership materials and social media campaigns.
Coordinate with the Director + Gallery Coordinator in the artistic design, editing and production of promotional materials for the organization.
Work with the Gallery Coordinator to produce and maintain an inventory of visual images to promote the Gallery, its exhibitions and related programs.
Skills required:

Proven experience in non-profit program facilitation
Communications (social media)
Digital Photography, high quality digital printing, (video skills a plus)
Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, web design
Excellent time-management, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
This is a one-year contract position with possibility of renewal.
10 hours/week.
Salary – $20/hr

The position allows for flexible hours, with a combination of remote and in-person work, as well as an opportunity to work with one of Rhode Island’s leading arts non-profit organizations.
