The Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation works to build a more equal and resilient world. We bring people together to support each other through three key initiatives: LeanIn.Org, OptionB.Org, and the Dave Goldberg Scholarship Program.
One of Lean In’s key programs – Lean In Circles – is a volunteer-driven community currently consisting of more than 69,000 Circles in over 188 countries. Many Circles are connected to Lean In Networks which offer hyper-local support and host events to generate a sense of belonging to the Lean In movement.
We are seeking a Senior Associate to support these programmatic efforts. This individual will be primarily responsible for cultivating relationships with 100+ Global Network Leaders who represent a community of more than 100,000 women across the globe. As part of their role, they will maintain the operational side of the program, support the creation of Community Circles, and more!
What You Will Do
Communicate extensively with Network Leaders: answering queries, generating content, and deepening engagement (email, Zoom, and social media)
Lead data management and visualization: maintaining current records, mailing lists, and reporting
Take ownership of the program’s operational processes for onboarding/exiting process for Network Leaders striving for an excellent user experience
Drive the quarterly survey process, including analyzing the results
Manage projects to develop program resources that will inspire and excite Network Leaders
Own the Community Circles workstream
Support delivery of Community Circles training
Triage of requests across a variety of inboxes
What You Will Bring
A shared appreciation for and commitment to Lean In’s mission and work
At least 3+ years of experience in a customer service, account management, sales, or partnerships support role.
Creating content (for Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin) to inspire and motivate our volunteers
Cultivating meaningful business relationships that lead to successful outcomes
Managing various projects simultaneously
Staying on top of multiple inboxes
Data processing, management, and visualization
Technical savvy including working experience with Google Suite environment, tracking projects in Asana or similar software, scheduling and running meetings in Zoom, and Zendesk (or other CRM platforms)
Event planning experience (A plus!)
A deep appreciation of cross-cultural differences and commonalities
Professional fluency in another language – particularly Spanish or French – would be helpful
This is a full-time position with a schedule that would require availability to work Pacific Time zone hours.
This is a remote position that includes the option of working a hybrid schedule for individuals based in the San Francisco Bay Area (Our office is located in Palo Alto, California).
Occasional travel is required to attend organization-wide offsites and events.
The selected individual must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
