Group Home Coordinator

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center’s Residential Services Program is seeking a Full-Time Group Home Coordinator.

Responsibilities of the Group Home Coordinator:
Supervision of three group homes (24-hour facilities) for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Supervising two group home managers in the day-to-day operation of the homes including fiscal management, staffing and other personnel-related issues, inter-disciplinary team functions and recommendations, and coordination of medical care and behavior intervention as needed.
This position will also complete all QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) duties for one of these homes.
Availability for after-hours emergency calls/assistance

Requirements for the Group Home Coordinator Position:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
Supervisory experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. routinely.
Must have valid driver’s license & car insurance.
Must be able and willing to work cooperatively as a team player with other management, professional and administrative staff.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must pass pre-employment physical, TB, drug screen and background checks.

The annual salary for this role ranges between $44,000 – $50,000 per year, depending upon experience.
