Program Manager

Hello! My name is Ray Lubitz, and I am a Program Manager for Earthwatch, a nonprofit organization working towards connecting people with scientists worldwide to conduct environmental research and empowering them with the knowledge they need to conserve the planet.

Earthwatch fields expeditions for the public, teens and corporate/nonprofit audiences, in collaboration with researchers all over the world. As we gear up for our youth expeditions, we are excited to announce that we are looking for talented environmental educators to serve as Facilitators for our 2023 Teen Teams!

We are looking for flexible and hardworking individuals to manage safety, team dynamics, and inclusivity, as well as provide meaningful activities for a group of up to 12 teens for 6 to 10 days on an expedition. This year, we have teen teams fielding all over the world and have facilitator positions available on our public teen teams, as well as our fellowship programs. As a facilitator, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to scientific research alongside the teen participants. This is a great way to hone your facilitation skills and spend time with inspiring youth while traveling the world!
