(Chicago, IL – Hybrid Role. Monday and Friday working remotely. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday report to our downtown Chicago office. Hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm.)

Job Summary:
Careers In Nonprofits is looking for a talented, experienced Recruiting Coordinator whose responsibilities include sourcing, attracting, evaluating, and onboarding new candidates. Essential Job Functions:
Manage and post job board and social media postings.
Make initial contact with applicants via phone and email to attract and schedule interviews for Recruiters.
Works with the branch team to develop recruiting strategies and campaigns to attract and engage talent.
Conducts recruiting calls to active and passive job seekers using various job boards, websites and other resources.
Initiates outbound recruiting calls to new candidates.
Actively asks for candidate referrals.
Enters and properly codes candidates into candidate database.
Attends job or career fairs to activity pursuit talent.
Assists in organizing and executing Open Houses and Career Mapping workshops.
Develop and share content with candidates.
Processes onboarding paperwork to include applications, I9s, and timesheets

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Recruiting experience, a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom
Video editing skills preferred
Strong people skills: ability to communicate clearly and positively to our candidates as well as internal team members
Proven performance succeeding in an organizational with clear and aggressive goals

Well demonstrated time-management and problem-solving skills
Quick study with affinity for detail and willingness to learn
Problem solver with strong analytical skills
Proven interpersonal skills in a team environment
