Aliento is seeking a Cultiva [Mental Health] Project Manager to support our Mental Health programming. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail oriented, experience in project management, and a background in community outreach and arts programming. This role reports to the Mental Health Director. Specified duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Management (50%) – Assist the Mental Health Director in forming and managing the Mental Health Committee’s work assessing Aliento’s services to mixed-immigration-status families and to exploring options for effectiveness, programmatic improvements, and expansion to communities throughout the Southeast Region of Maricopa County.

– Manage development of relationships, meeting logistics (i.e. invitee list, agenda distribution, meeting minutes), and implementation of quarterly Committee meetings.

– In collaboration with the Mental Health Director, develop best practices and guidelines for working with mixed-immigration-status families to be disseminated to schools, non-profits, and others who serve these families.

– Support Cultiva Programming as needed.

– Support content and program development for Arts Programming.

– Directly supervise Graphic Design Fellow and 1 to 2 student interns/fellows. – Other duties as assigned

2. Cultiva Programming Evaluation (25%) – Provide ongoing progress of the committee’s work to the leadership team and key stakeholders

– Assist in development of best practices guide and share with committee members.

– Work in collaboration with interns/fellows to make best practices user friendly.

– Obtain feedback from committee members regarding the process and final product of the committee’s work.

– Collaborate with Mental Health Director and Data & Evaluation Manager to ensure tools & data fidelity and accuracy

3. Provide Strategic Input and Support to Aliento and Collaborate Across Departments (25%) – Meet weekly with assigned supervisor and supervisees.

– Attend weekly core team meetings (every Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m.).

– Attend quarterly step-backs and bi-annual retreats (see annual calendar). – Attend meetings with stakeholders.

– Support organization by sharing content on social media.

– Represent Aliento at the highest level of integrity at external events, media. interviews, etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: – 3-5 years experience in

– Implementing community-based programming

– Track record in stakeholder management and engagement

– Building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds

– Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks and prioritize competing responsibilities

– Background in mental/behavioral health or related field

– Process & results oriented

– Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment

– Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong organizational skills

– Experience leading and collaborating in cross-departmental projects

– Proficient in Google G Suite, Asana and Slack preferred but not required

– Other duties as assigned and agreed upon

– Commitment and passion to supporting immigration, education, mental health, arts, and other areas that advance the rights of undocumented youth and mixed status families

COMPENSATION:

– FTE $49,500 to $60,500 DOE
