What is the YNPN Email List?
The YNPN Email List is a great resource for all nonprofit professionals in the Bay Area and beyond. The list gives everyone (YNPN Members and the General Public) access to a vast network of nonprofit professionals. Many of our user utilize the list by asking questions about local resources, posting event and volunteer opportunities, and engaging in a variety of discussions about the nonprofit sector.
How do I join the YNPN Email List?
Select ‘New Login// Password Reset’ in the left-hand corner and follow the directions to sign-up.
How do I post to YNPN?
If you are already subscribed to YNPN SFBA, you can post by emailing: sfba_members@lists.ynpn.org
You will not receive the email to the address the post is sent from.
I want to archive/get the digest option/view my messages on the web site, how do I do this?
Go to http://lists.ynpn.org and register under the email address you are already registered for YNPN under. At that point, you should be able to click on the YNPN SFBA-members list and edit your list preferences. If you have problems, email ListAdmin@ynpn.org
How do I search the email list archives?
You can search the YNPN Jobs List using the link below and looking under the “National” Groups Heading. You can also search the YNPN jobs database at ynpn.org.
Are housing listings appropriate?
Yes, with feedback from the list members we have decided that these types of postings are appropriate to the list because of the shortage of housing in SF and the challenges (e.g. low salaries) faced by YNPs.
How do I subscribe and unsubscribe from YNPN?

What do I do if I have problems or questions?

Can I send a petition to the list?
No. Petitions and chain emails are not appropriate. If you have a question about something you would like to post, please email the List Manager at ListAdmin@ynpn.org.
Can I send a virus warning to the list?
Not unless you have first checked to make sure it is valid at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/vinfodb.html (this is one of many sites that can tell you about the validity of a virus warning). Most virus warnings are hoaxes.
How do I file a complaint about a post to the list?
Email the List Manager at ListAdmin@ynpn.org or another member of the Advisory Board.
