Join the YNPN National Board of Directors
YNPN is always looking for dedicated board members to serve at least one two-year term on the National board. The National Board meets by phone every other month and in person twice a year. Board members are expected to join at least one board committee and to dedicate on average 15-20 hours/month to board work.
Timeline: Applications available late fall for two-year terms beginning January 1.

Become your Chapter’s Liaison to the YNPN National Board
A Chapter Liaison is the communications point person between chapters and YNPN National. The duties of this position are varied and require an estimated time commitment of about 3 hours per month. Chapter Liaisons’ responsibilities include:
- Receiving and disseminating all e-newsletters from the national board to the other board members from their chapters
- Helping YNPN collect chapter level statistics and ensuring that surveys are filled out and returned in a timely manner
- Attending YNPN webinars/conference calls (or arrange for a chapter proxy) and disseminating information to the other chapter leadership
- Attending the national conference or ensuring that another chapter member attends the national conference and disseminates information to the rest of their chapter

Volunteer as an ad hoc committee member for a YNPN National Board Committee or Task Force
From time to time, National board committees take on new projects that could benefit from the leadership and skills of our larger network. Opportunities may be discrete and project-based or may entail ongoing participation. These opportunities will be published on the Leaders List. Or, if you have an idea for how you might help YNPN National with its work as a non-board member volunteer, please contact us!
