Their mission is to advance new leadership to strenthen communities, nonprofits and civic participation. Public Allies identifies talented young adults (ages 18-30) from diverse backgrounds and prepares them for careers working for community and social change. Allies serve 10-month, paid apprenticeships at local nonprofits.
