The Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin (YNPN – Austin) is a local community of nonprofit staffers, volunteers, board members and philanthropists promoting the professional
development of passionate new leaders by organizing social events to facilitate the development of a professional network; offering professional development workshops to acquire relevant skills and valuable knowledge; and distributing important news and events to keep our members informed of community
happenings.

YNPN Austin is continuously recruiting passionate and talented individuals to help with the operation of our organization. Thank you for your interest in helping further our mission.
The time commitment for serving on a YNPN-Austin Committee will vary depending on the committee and position held, but will, at the very least, require the following:
- Committee Meetings as designated by the Committee Chair
- Attendance at 25% of monthly professional development and social events
- Additional time to account for any supplementary work, as needed
- Programming – YNPN Austin’s programming committee is responsible for creating
  stimulating environments in which our members can start and/or build on their professional development through scheduled educational workshops, skill-building events and networking opportunities.
- Communications – The Communications Committee is responsible for maintaining a monitored listserv to communicate news, events and announcements from YNPN, member organizations, and individual members. They also manage the YNPN website.
- Membership/Development – The Membership/Development Committee is responsible
  for the planning and implementation of YNPN Austin’s
  Do Gooder Wednesday Happy Hours, and the Do
  Gooder Games – YNPN’s annual fundraising and team
  building event, and soliciting sponsorships for YNPN
  events.
